The Thrift Shop is open Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We are accepting Visa, Mastercard, and Discover ($10 minimum purchase amount when using credit card). Welcome!
The Thrift Shop is closed all federal holidays and the last two weeks in December. The AFOWC Thrift Shop is located on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, at Brookley Avenue, in Building 13 (the north end of the Family Support Center). We Need You…..we are always looking for volunteers for even an hour or two. You get first dibs on anything that is donated, and anything you buy is 50% OFF! Have kids? We will reimburse child care! Stop by or call for more details on being a volunteer!
Bag a Bargain at the Thrift Shop...
The Thrift Shop will be hosting special "Bag Sales" on a regular basis. Be sure to check back for dates and time. Customers can bring in a paper grocery sack and fill it with clothing items for only $5, except for military clothing. For more information call the Thrift Shop at 202-563-6666.
Thrift Shop Information
We are not taking any consignments until further notice. In case of inclement weather the Thrift Shop may delay opening until 11:00 am. A $35.00 charge for all checks returned for insufficient funds. Purchased items will only be held for one business day!
