Air Force Officers' Wives' Club of Washington D.C. ("AFOWC") was organized in 1923 and has the distinction of being the oldest OWC in the Air Force.

The purpose of the AFOWC is to promote and preserve interest in Air Force activities; promote friendship, unify interest and activities of its individual members; and to sponsor welfare projects for the United States Air Force and in the civilian community.
