The Air Force Charity Ball Committee would like to sincerely thank all who donated wine to support the much anticipated "Wall of Wine" component of the Silent Auction. Unfortunately, we were unable to include the Wall of Wine due unforeseen procedural constraints. As a result, we want to make a good faith effort to return the wine to its generous donors.

The first official USAF Charity Ball was held at Bolling AFB on April 3, 2004. This inaugural event was based on a 47 year fundraising tradition by our AFOWC to support the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), the official charity of the United States Air Force.

The 2012 Ball planning is underway and we are looking forward to another successful event. Last year was a record setting year for the Charity Ball raising over $671,000, a 19.1% increase over the previous year. This brings the total raised for the Air Force Aid Society to over $3.9 million dollars. The USAF Charity Ball also serves as our largest fundraiser. Last year the AFOWC received $50,000 allowing us to continue our philanthropic tradition. I am confident that with your assistance we can be equally successful this year.

The 2012 Ball will be held at the beautiful Waterford in Springfield, VA on Saturday, March 24th. www.airforcecharityball.org Please mark your calendars now for this “not-to-be-missed” gala event! Once again, the evening will feature fabulous food, wonderful entertainment, warm camaraderie, and of course the highlight of the evening, treasures from around the world to bid on at the Silent Auction.
